Have you been a victim of a scam? Avoid being scammed at all costs
Ok ok, so we have all heard of the home based business concept and if we are all doing our due diligence then we have no doubt been BOMBARDED by different opportunities. You have of course spoken to people who want you in their “downline” and have received calls from strangers trying to sell you opportunities but, when putting yourself in their shoes, it doesn’t seem that appealing!!
However, you speak with someone who wants to meet up with you, you like the way they sound so you agree to it and the next thing you know you are being blasted with sign up levels, downlines, weekly meetings and other MLM style phrases. $299 to get started at the lowest level, if you have more money than you can join at the highest level $4999. All this money and you must be thinking to yourself, “am I ever going to see a return on this?”. You probably don’t have the time or desire to attend weekly meetings, you probably don’t have the desire to make cold calls to people who have never heard of you. It is the type of opportunity that will leave you guessing for a couple of months, putting sweat and tears into something that will never work and before you know it.....You have been well and truly scammed.
I, like many, am a total sceptic. Always have been. I looked at these opportunities and thought that they were all scams, and I’ll tell you what, I still think most of them are. I have come across a home based business that (8 months down the line) has ticked 90% of the boxes I wanted to tick. I am even making good money with it but like most business’s, it still took some time and effort. The main difference is that it is “online” which means...........
- NO COLD CALLING PEOPLE WHO DONT WANT TO SPEAK WITH YOU
- NO BORING, LONG WEEKLY SALES MEETINGS
- NO UPLINE CALLS HARRASSING ME LIKE MY BOSS
- MORE INCOME POTENTIAL AS YOU ARE ONE CLICK AWAY FROM 2.5 BILLION PEOPLE
- YOU CAN WORK FROM HOME, THE BEACH.....ANYWHERE!!!
The beauty of the business I found was that even though I had no idea how to start a business or how to use the internet to make money, the process was simple and the training was first class. I have spent the last 2 years looking at and trying out different opportunities as I am sure you have so it was a breath of fresh air to finally find one that delivered on at least MOST of what it promised. We’re all tired of being sceptical and scammed and it gets to the point when you give up, but if you give up then you give up on life and you are stuck in the same corporate nightmare you have spent the last 2 years trying to escape!!! You must find a home based business that you can plug into, and profit from with ease, ideally with some sort of mentor whom you can emulate.
In no way would I follow the trend of Internet Marketers out there and say JOIN UP NOW, I would tell you to get yourself a free marketing report and read through the company and what it has to offer. You may notice that the word read has been used and this is plain and simple, we have jumped into too many of these “businesses” to have found we have been scammed shortly afterwards, it’s time we all did some due diligence and made the correct decision. I did and couldn’t be happier. So get your free marketing report, avoid the rubbish. The right business, giving the right information and guidance and this time next year we could be millionaires!!!! At least we won’t have been scammed anyway!

My Internet Busines-1st Month Expectations

One of the most frequent questions I get asked by people looking to or that have just become a part of the My Internet Business opportunity is what can i expect from my first month?
Most people are keen to find out what they can expect not only work wise but financially as well and after all that’s why most of us turn to the lucrative world of internet marketing isn’t it? The financial freedom! Now unfortunately due to that point exactly there are a lot of people out there on the internet looking to make a quick buck, they don’t care about value for money or customer service. They fill the internet with promises of instant riches with no work “just sign up, pay your money, and watch the cash roll in” well we all know this just isn’t the case.
Unfortunately the old clich̩ is correct Рthere is no such thing as a free lunch. To be successful on the internet you need the same ingredients that you need in most areas of life:- ambition, determination a good attitude and the rite training and education with these things the internet has a fountain of opportunity.
But back to my initial point, in your first month of My Internet Business it is important to have realistic targets. Now for me one of my main drives behind my search for success on the internet was to completely replace my income so that i could drastically reduce my working hours without jeopardising my lifestyle. So for me the target was easy. I had a reasonably strong salary of around £2500 a month after tax, but it was not enough to justify the 11 hour days and six day weeks!!
So this was my goal, I Worked pretty hard over my first month but i was a complete Internet (and Computer) novice. I took in as much as i could from my mentor and worked through as much of the training as i could. If I’m honest with you in my first month i fell just short of my target and actually achieved £1900. The first month was a massive learning curve for me and gave me the foundations to go on and get to where i am today currently earning over three times my old salary in a week with half the hours!
The opportunities that became available to me where via My internet Business. On reflection i am so glad i did not under estimate the importance of having a mentor. There are so many different services and products available on the internet some legitimate and unfortunately some not so. Without experience it is close to impossible to separate which is which so it is crucial to find someone you trust and feel comfortable with to guide you through your early steps.

Because every week I have phonecalls and emails from members below such Mentors, pulling their hair out because they have been abandoned by their sponsor.
This is one part of my “job” that i do not enjoy. This isn’t because I don’t want to talk to them, far from it. It’s because it frustrates the hell out of me that people are put in this position in the first place.
My Internet Business is a fantastic business opportunity, and the training is comprehensive and if followed will produce results for you.
However, the majority of those that join MyInternetBusiness don’t have a huge knowledge of this industry or have been failing in other businesses and opportunities, and therefore need someone to guide the way and point out the most effective marketing strategies that they need to be applying to get results fast; and with all the information in the MIB Back-office it can seem overwhelming on which to do first and what order to do everything.
So what happens if you have a mentor who doesnt ever seem to answer their phone?You find it very damn difficult, thats what.
Have you heard the phrase “Can’t see the wood for the trees?” this is often the case when newbies first start out in this business, everything is so new and fresh that they can become a little bit muddled as to what they should be paying attention to, and can easily lose direction and focus on what they should be concentrating on.
This is the main thing that gets mentioned to me when I speak with these MIB abandonees. They have all these great ideas but just dont know how to process them and no-one to turn to for help.

How Important Is A Positive Mind state?
Just how important is a positive frame of mind when starting your own business and working in the world of internet marketing? If you are one of the many people that would answer “not nearly as important as other aspects” then you are extremely wrong!! A positive mind state can not only transform your business to an extremely profitable business but it can also entirely change your life in every area imaginable.
So what is it that I am actually talking about and what is a “mind state”? In essence, it is the way you view certain scenarios and your reactions to certain outcomes. For example; you are building a website and after two hours of inputting script and pictures the computer crashes wiping everything you have done. Your reaction is A) I am not at all computer literate, this type of thing always happens to me and this website will never get done so I give up, or B) Damn you computer, you will not beat me and at least next time I will be quicker knowing what to do and what to write. Now this seems pretty obvious but which option do you think will eventually lead to a successful website? And you would very surprised at just how many people give up.
To have a negative mind state is to have a million excuses; I’m not computer literate, I’m never going to do this, I’ve got nothing to offer,etc etc. To have a positive mind state is to have a million answers; I can learn about this computer, where there is a will there is a way and I am going to make sure I have lot’s to offer.
How do you get a positive mind state? Watch the Secret. In my opinion this is one of the most positive, amazing videos I have ever had the experience of watching. It has changed many people’s lives using the simple rile of the law of attraction, you attract what you think. Another really good book that is worth reading is Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. He masters the fact that the same person can go two separate ways in life, simply by using different attitudes.
The best advice I can give you is that, like any skill or change you want to make in life, this can take work. It doesn’t happen overnight. But simply add prompts into your life, reminders of a positive way of thinking and you will start to notice a considerable and prosperous difference.

Traffic - drive traffic to your site
To make money on the internet you must come to the realisation that you need a large amount of traffic to your website. Without traffic to your website, you will have no one to buy your products...it’s that simple. Google is the best website for generating traffic, without using Google you will not make the money or gain the traffic you desire. You must first master Google, then turn your attention to other search engines. Remember, with Google you must work hard and in some cases pay for results but you will also gain an element of free traffic on a daily basis.
Using Google you must use a series of links, articles and blogging to gain a natural and “organic” flow of traffic through to your site. If you follow the steps in the initial marketing period and regularly blog, write articles and link backs you will have a flow of traffic even after you have finished the initial launch of your marketing plan. If you as a marketer establish a strong series of link backs and articles and blogs then you will enjoy a steady flow of traffic for many many years.
You may have heard many times “the money is in the list”, well what you must realise is that you must service that list with free marketing courses, hints and tips, not just sell sell sell. It isn’t the easiest thing to keep giving out to a non responsive list, however, if you persist and are clever then the long term gains will start appearing and before long you will have everything you need from the list.
One thing to remember is that it is not always quantity of numbers to your website but more important, quality. It is very hard to get to that number one spot on google, so you must make sure your blog, articles and website offer quality and attract the right sort of person.
I cannot emphasise how important driven, targeted traffic is to your online business, it is quite simply the most essential and important part of your business. If you do not have targeted traffic you will not make money. Remember, there are so many opportunities to drive traffic to your website, some of them are not great ways of doing it yet you still continue to make it work, think about it and move onto something that’s more productive.

Articles actually work as a filter for unwanted traffic, if people like what they read then they will click on your link or site as a qualified lead. I cannot emphasise enough, write articles, make sure they are quality with great content and sit back and watch the traffic flow through.

Question. “Should every business website have a blog?” Answer. “Yes.” Blogging has become a vital tool in online business over the last 3-4 years, especially with the emergence of Video Blogging.
Below are some of the reasons why every business should have an up to date blog.
To Generate Traffic - The common conception by most people is that if you have a business website, you will automatically generate much needed traffic however in 99% of the cases, this is not true. Along with the patience and time element, Traffic needs good quality content specified towards your product/page so what better than to get your content out there by way of a blog.
Search Engine Optimisation – It is a fact that traffic flows to blogs much easier than to your business website. If you transfer your website from a CSS format to (self hosted) Wordpress, your sites will gain more traffic. Essentially, Wordpress is a platform that allows you to have the benefits of a website and blog all together in the same entity.
Keep customers up to speed - A blog allows customers to have up to date knowledge about your products, business and yourself. This is important as it does not mean they must speak to you on the phone or trawl through your website all the time to find out what’s going on.
Build Contacts. The more contacts you have the more free advertising you will generate. The blogging world is fiercely loyal and if you keep up with the good content you will soon have a loyal army of followers who will pass your product on to whoever they know. There is nothing stronger than word of mouth.
Reviews. If you can keep within the niche but not in direct competition, writing trade reviews for other business’ and having them written for you is not only good advertising but dominating a market. Remember to stay out of direct competitors though.
From what I have written so far you will establish that a blog is a great source for generating traffic, achieving sales within your niche market, building niche lists and getting your brand out there into the world. I would be lost without one!!

Ebook writing
At times we all have the inspiration to write, whether it is a book, a blog or an E Book, but what we must all remember is that before you even put pen to pad or tap that key board you must have a clear marketing strategy laid out.
Target Audience
Before you begin, I advise you to lock yourself in a quiet room free from distraction and put that brain power to good use. Identify who you are writing it for, put yourself in their position and ask yourself what they would want from such a product. You need to identify who you're writing for from the very beginning. Even though it is taken for granted that an E-book is the used to transfer knowledge from one party to another, different people take different things out of it.
You will be recognised as a teacher and because of this what you say must be true, honest and add real value to your pupil. Understanding your pupil will help you with what tone to use and exactly what it is that they will expect from you. Leave no stone unturned and do not be afraid to go into specific details to make your point clear and concise.
First Impressions Count
The content of your E-Book may be spectacular, however, the reader cannot read it all before they decide whether to buy or not!! Therefore, a title is one of the most important aspects of the whole project. It must grab attention and give the prospect a good idea as to what it is all about. Apart from giving the reader a good idea as to the contents it must also stand out above the competition so do some research, look at what sort of books sell and why etc
To summarise, know your target audience, put yourself in their shoes, make sure your product appears to stand out above the competition and you will have a top product and a potential gold mine.
