Facebook Takes On Google!!! “FriendFeed accepts Facebook friend request"

Google have one eye over their shoulder following the purchase of the popular and acclaimed content-sharing service FriendFeed.

The search method is expected to be massive and extremely popular with searches showing results in “real time” and the internet world has seen shock waves due to the expected acquisition from either Google or Twitter.
Respected Blogger and industry expert Robert Scoble had these words to say when hearing the news "Google look out, Facebook knows the real money is in real-time search".

Although Google are the number one worldwide brand and self proclaimed “King” of the internet search, friendfeed are the Kings of the real time search and therefore, the next big advance in the internet world.
Google founder Larry Page admitted that Google had fallen behind the likes of Twitter who now have over 45 Million users stating that people wanted to do stuff in “real time”.
He even found these negative words to say when describing Google’s achievements "We've done a relatively poor job of doing things that work on a per second basis,"

Silicon Valley residents have stated that Facebook made an unsuccessful attempt to buy Twitter and so friendfeed was the next best thing. Friendfeed is known to have extremely powerful, advanced technology that allows people to aggregate what they do online and even more importantly, in real time.

Experts reveal that Friendfeed has been inspirational for Facebook with many of it’s features mirrored by that of Facebook. Examples of this are the ability for others to comment or say they like other peoples statements or the ability to import third party content such as YouTube videos.

It is believed that Friendfeed has been the research centre for Facebook and will continue to be, with Facebook using the site to test new features before including them in their site.

Even though the two companies had been discussing a deal for the last two years, experts were still caught by surprise that one of the giants did not come in and nip Facebook at the post. Founder Bret Taylor admitted that it was an “11th hour deal”. Even more interesting was that the majority of the google hierarchy/founders all worked at Friendfeed in a previous life!

The agreement states that all Friendfeed employees will become Facebook employees and the four founders will be given executive positions with the Facebook group. Also, for the moment, Friendfeed will continue to work independently.

This deal shows that even the largest of “Power houses” do not get their own way all the time and that there are infact, pretenders to the throne. One thing for sure, anyone using Facebook to network and market, it is only going from strength to strength.

Work from home As a single parent

Demographic figures worldwide are showing that there are an ever increasing number of single mums and dads looking after and caring for their off spring.

Couple this with the fact that we are in a worldwide recession and this does not make things any easier for a single parent, in fact, it makes it a whole lot worse. Many Single parents are resorting to working wherever they can and paying absolute extortionate child care costs because they simply do not have any other options. With work becoming more scarce and child care costs increasing, single parents are resorting to drastic measures and are missing out on the most important thing of all....Spending time with their children.

With technology and more importantly, the internet, at your disposal there is another way. Internet marketing has emerged as the shining light for many single parents struggling to support for their children. The ability to use the internet to leverage an income while sitting in the comfort of your own home has enabled single parents to spend the quality time needed with their children while still making money.

How are people doing this and where do you start?
There are currently companies out there that will train you from a very limited internet and marketing knowledge to a fully competent internet marketer generating huge streams of income for doing very little work during your day. When you are a member of such companies you can make your money with two different methods:

1) Referal and team building – You are taught to market your company and the training and services it has to offer. You are then paid when someone joins the company and by doing so, you build up a team under you acting as their mentor and taking a small cut of any money they make.

2) Product Sales – When joining, you are given 100% resale rights to a host of products. You have the right to price these products at a rate that suits you, you can sell them how you want and to whom you want.
So how does a single parent become a part of such a company? You normally have to buy in at a certain package rate, ranging from $49 to $3000. The difference in package normally relates to the products you are given to sell and the training and referral options you have.

So all is not lost as a single parent, turn to the internet, do your research and find out just how easy it is becoming to earn a living from home, focusing on what is important to you...your children.

Adertise for Free and make big profits

Hi,

You may or may not be aware that one of the latest and greatest ways to market yourself, your products or your business is through social networking.

But don't be fooled, it is not a case of just opening a social network account and waiting for the money to role in!!! if only it was that simple :-)

It takes certain techniques to fully harness the power of these social networking sites.

Currently the site that is fast becoming the most prolific and making a lot of Internet marketers substantial amounts of money is Twitter.

I recently came across a manifesto that completely revolutionised my use of this website and ever since i have been seeing massive results!

Click here for The Twitter Manifesto

Thanks for your time and all the best

YourNetBiz - Video Marketing

Using your article content for video format has huge advantages and is very easy to do. Below are some of the advantages and a simple step by step guide as to how you would go about it.

Video Marketing – The benefits

• Doubling Up: Articles are a great medium for generating traffic, so imagine if you use the content in a video? You effectively have twice the exposure. The obvious statement here is that twice the exposure means twice the traffic.

• Great Link backs: Using massive sites such as Facebook or Youtube means you will have links back to your website and the potential for driven traffic straight to the site.

• Low Cost: This is an easy to upload, and cheap way of effectively gaining trust and having the ability to relate to prospects on a higher level.

• Google Searches: The link will show up on google searches with a thumbnail video picture and link, looking professional and enticing to click on.

Ok so how easy is it to upload a video to the net? Lets use YouTube as an example.

1) Register your details with Youtube, make sure you choose a username that is relevant to your business and niche.

2) Click on the “Upload Video” button and choose the video you wish to upload.

3) Decide on a title for the video. This is important as it is what will come up when people search for videos.

4) Write a complex description making sure to link keywords from the title into the description. Make sure you tell the viewer about you, your business and what you have to offer. The most important aspect to this description is to include your website address so they can click back and view your page.

5) The tags you wish to write are keywords to link to your video so people find it easier. My advice on what tags to include would be to link one to your title, to the key word you are focusing on in your description, use your name, and any competitors selling similar products so you appear as another option when someone is viewing their video.

6) Select a category and then make sure you share with the world!
So it really is this easy! In this day and age video is a vital form of advertising and lead generation. It is becoming more and more essential to relate to people on a personal level and what better way to do that then as near face to face as you can get.

YourNetBiz - Blogging, the Art of Sharing

Question. “Should every business website have a blog?” Answer. “Yes.” Blogging has become a vital tool in online business over the last 3-4 years, especially with the emergence of Video Blogging.

Below are some of the reasons why every business should have an up to date blog.

To Generate Traffic - The common conception by most people is that if you have a business website, you will automatically generate much needed traffic however in 99% of the cases, this is not true. Along with the patience and time element, Traffic needs good quality content specified towards your product/page so what better than to get your content out there by way of a blog.

Search Engine Optimisation – It is a fact that traffic flows to blogs much easier than to your business website. If you transfer your website from a CSS format to (self hosted) Wordpress, your sites will gain more traffic. Essentially, Wordpress is a platform that allows you to have the benefits of a website and blog all together in the same entity.

Keep customers up to speed - A blog allows customers to have up to date knowledge about your products, business and yourself. This is important as it does not mean they must speak to you on the phone or trawl through your website all the time to find out what’s going on.

Build Contacts. The more contacts you have the more free advertising you will generate. The blogging world is fiercely loyal and if you keep up with the good content you will soon have a loyal army of followers who will pass your product on to whoever they know. There is nothing stronger than word of mouth.

Reviews. If you can keep within the niche but not in direct competition, writing trade reviews for other business’ and having them written for you is not only good advertising but dominating a market. Remember to stay out of direct competitors though.

From what I have written so far you will establish that a blog is a great source for generating traffic, achieving sales within your niche market, building niche lists and getting your brand out there into the world. I would be lost without one!!

List Building - Creating a List

Internet Marketing is getting more and more popular as each day goes by. You may have heard the saying... “the money is in the list” well never has been more true. To have a strong, large list that you are building rapport with is to earn the sort of income that we all dream about. There are “easier” ways to generate such lists, you can buy leads from companies such as Red Clay Media or InfoUSA but they tend to be expensive and the quality is not as good as leads you can generate yourself.

The biggest problem is not knowing how to generate such lists and what to do with them. Here is a brief guide to get you started:

Creating a large list:

Lead Capture Page: You must first have a website that will capture information so you can build your list. Depending on whether you have a budget or not will depend on how you do this. If your budget is low, then a website like Weebly.com is a great tool for building your own website. Remember that on this website you must have a targeted headline discussing a potential problem. Next you need a video of yourself. The purpose of this video is to relate to people, so that they can see you are a human and buy into you. Then you will need a call to action, telling them to enter their email address and name to get a certain result.

Auto Responder: Once someone has entered their email address and details, you must have an automatically generated email sent to them with some added value and some more about yourself. Aweber.com is a great tool for this. You can pre write a sequence of emails to be sent to the prospect, even to the point where you decide what day and time each email is sent.

Ok so now you know how to build your list, the important part of the marketing begins. Driving traffic through to your lead capture page. I could write for days on this subject but the best advice I could give anyone would be to research heavily on google, join a business that will teach you everything you need to such as YourNetBiz or Maverick Money Makers and the exciting stuff begins. Remember, the more traffic to your capture page = the larger your list and the larger your list = the higher your income generated. Simple!!

Sky rocket your Internet Business!-top tips on securing qualified Clients for your internet business

The early stages of your internet campaign can be a tricky business, here are a few helpful tips to create the foundations for your internet business and sustain a high level of customers; even with a high ticket opportunity or service.

Firstly and in my opinion most importantly, win the trust of your target market/audience. Make sure that information about your business and more importantly yourself is readily available to your customers. This will help make them feel they have a rapport with you and helps build trust. Also maintaining the trust is equally paramount once it has been achieved. You can do this by only recommending products and services to them that you yourself believe in and also by genuinely wanting to help and support your clients.

Spend time and effort putting research into your keywords. What I mean by this is make sure you are reaching the correct market for your content. Especially if a lot of your marketing is based around pay per click, blogs and article writing. Google have a great tool to assist with this called Google keyword selector. This is just one of many directories that will suggest keywords for you based on the market you are targeting. You can also use this information to find out which are the slightly less competitive keywords and keep down the cost of your pay per click advertising.

I can’t stress enough the importance of making sure that your websites are not only aesthetically pleasing but have a very high standard of informative content. Too many marketers fall by the wayside because they focus too much on having flashy pop-ups and HTML and completely neglect the quality of the information, product or service. With today’s consumers being more market aware and internet savvy there is no use in trying to impress them in this way. Whilst on the topic of content you can also optimise your page ranking with the content on your pages. By this I mean your website will come higher on search engines by using popular keywords and links in and out of the page as possible. Make sure your website is registered with as many directories as possible to make is easily discoverable online.

Make sure you really are highlighting at all times the benefits of your product or service. Not just what the product is but what it can do for them? how it can change their lives? May be painting them a picture of the lifestyle it could afford them. For example “an investment opportunity that’s going to get that Ferrari and apartment overlooking the beach”. Instead of just saying “an opportunity that will make you money online”. We as humans are very visually oriented even if it’s just a mental picture it can convey a powerful message. These techniques really can build up a hunger for your products amongst your prospects.
